Lava are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as finalists for the live pitch competition at the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG) 2017 World Congress.
The pitch competition, co-organised by Aging 2.0 and AGE-WELL NCE in partnership with IAGG, will be held on July 26th, 2017 in San Francisco, California. The competition will take place during the Technology and Aging (‘Tech Day’) one-day program during the World Congress.
Technology has the potential to improve the lives of a growing proportion of today’s aging population by helping them maintain independence and increase control of their environments. ‘Tech Day’ offers an unprecedented one-day Technology and Aging Track that brings together leading companies, gerontologists, and entrepreneurs engaged in developing technology solutions for older adults.
As a finalist we have asked to present a compelling 5-minute pitch about our Behavioural Analysis solution to a panel of expert judges. In addition to the significant exposure being offered to the finalists, IAGG will award a $4,500 prize to the winner selected by the judges.
About:
Lava’s Behavioural Analysis solution utilises sensor based technology for the identification management and predication of agitation in patients with dementia or autism. It provides non-intrusive monitoring with a focus on improving peoples’ lives. It empowers patients and carers by giving them more control over their own health.
