Lava retain place on UK Government G-Cloud Framework

The Lava Group is delighted to have successfully retained its listing as a supplier on the UK Governments’ latest G-Cloud framework, G-Cloud 11.  Lava were successful in Lot 2 Cloud software – Software as a Service (SaaS) for Cell Point.

G-Cloud 11 is the latest tender round that allows government to procure in a way that encourages a dynamic and responsive supplier marketplace. It was created in 2012 by Crown Commercial Service and Government Digital Service with an objective to make government procurement more transparent and easier.

The framework can be used by organisations across the UK public sector including central government, local government, health, education, devolved administrations, emergency services, defence and not-for-profit organisations. The most recent G-Cloud figures show total spending since 2012 to be £4.79bn, 45 per cent of which was awarded to SMEs.
