The Lava Group is pleased to announce that OneTouch, its Integrated Security Management software has been selected by Queen’s University, Belfast to replace their existing physical security information system. Lava was chosen following a detailed tender process and awarded a 10-year contract, to supply and maintain the solution.
The contract will involve integrating a wide range of CCTV camera technology and other security sub-systems including intruder, panic, access control, and fire and building management alarms onto a single platform.
The University is committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all persons working, studying and visiting the University campus. Over the past decade Queens’ have invested £350m in schemes to support world-class research and education and to provide an exceptional student experience.
OneTouch’s open and scalable solution, enables Queens to maintain their existing physical security investments across 300+ sites. It offers a secure management environment for all alarm and event handling, and provides control room operators with a real time view of what is happening, so that they can respond quickly and effectively to alarms requiring a security response.
