Lava Group have successfully been approved to join the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) Dynamic Purchasing System for Minor Works (MWDPS) framework. The company have been awarded the following position on the framework for Electrical Engineering – Access Control.
The contract will cover construction, maintenance and resultant remedial small scope high impact works to the MoJ estate. This initiative primarily targeting project work under £1m, provides an alternative route to market. While the primary focus will be on prison establishments, the scope of DPS extends across all other divisions of the MOJ including courts, tribunals, Home Office controlled and corporate buildings.
The inclusion builds on Lava Group’s extensive experience of over 20 years working in the criminal justice market. The company have been dedicated to supporting prison services, aiming to improve the environment for both staff and prisoners by offering innovative solutions and integrating advanced biometric technology. These efforts are in line with Lava’s goal to enhance safer custody practices and to aid rehabilitation.
