The Role
As a key member of the Operations Team you will install, configure, test, maintain and support Lava Group systems and will provide a quality on-site and remote technical support service to our customers.
Passionate about customer service you will follow customer issues through to completion to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction have been achieved.
You will take a pro-active approach to support, implementing contingency procedures to improve service and contribute to the ongoing development of both existing and future Lava Group products.
As a key channel between the customer and Development Team you will feedback customer improvement ideas for evaluation.
Excited by technology you will keep up to date with current and future technology that Lava Group could exploit.
You will mentor, encourage, and facilitate the development of others in the team.
The Individual
Essential
- A multi-talented individual with cross-disciplinary interest and experience. Candidates will have BTEC/HNC in Electronic and Electrical Engineering with experience and interest in IT and possess a mix of engineering and IT skills.
- Have at least 1+ years experience in a technical support/installation role preferably within electronics or Fire & Security service industries.
- Experience of PC based support tools.
- A logical, methodical thinker with creative problem-solving ability and a proven ability to respond positively to challenges

Circumstances
- Full clean driving license essential
- Role requires successful application for full security clearance
- Prepared to provide out of hours technical support to customers on a rota basis
- Prepared to work flexible hours to meet business needs
- Prepared to travel as and when required and work away at times in UK and Ireland
