The Role

As a key member of the Operations Team you will you will maintain and support Lava Group systems at customer sites throughout Ireland and the UK.

You will be responsible for completing regular monthly/quarterly Planned Preventative Maintenance visits to our customer sites.

You will be assigned to perform essential evaluations to ensure our systems operate at optimum performance. Your responsibilities will also include completing maintenance reports, providing recommendations and updating our internal documentation.

It will be your duty to proactively maintain Lava systems, demonstrating a proactive approach by implementing effective contingency procedures to enhance service quality and minimise unplanned callouts.

You will deliver a quality on-site and remote technical support service to our customers when required.

You will have flexibility in work hours to provide cover if required for holidays and sickness absence to team Engineers. 

As a key channel between the customer and Development Team you will feedback customer improvement ideas for evaluation.

Excited by technology you will keep up to date with current and future technology that Lava Group could exploit.

You will mentor, encourage and facilitate the development of others in the team.

The Individual

Essential

• A multi-talented individual with cross-disciplinary interest and experience.  Candidates will possess a mix of Engineering and IT skills.

• Have at least 1+ years experience in a field maintenance role preferably within Electronics or Fire & Security service industries.
• Experience of PC based support tools.

• A logical, methodical thinker with creative problem-solving ability.
• Candidates should possess a positive team player mentality and the ability to work independently using own initiative.
• Skilled in effectively prioritising own workload and demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and composure when faced with changing circumstances and varying levels of pressure.
