We are constantly investing in R&D to find new ideas, methods and solutions. We pride ourselves on solving problems where others have failed. Our company philosophy is based around our focus on innovation. “Fluid thinking, rock solid results”
We enjoy what we do and we love working with people who are energetic and who share our enthusiasm for life. We work hard but we enjoy ourselves. In our opinion the best people are those who can be the same people at work as they are at home.
The reputation of our company is based on the quality of our products and our customer service. We are constantly striving to exceed expectations with everything we do. Excellence is the standard that we seek to achieve for every time.
Since his appointment as CEO of The Lava Group Gareth has driven forward a successful growth strategy which has seen the company diversify into new markets.
Led by his extensive experience of the security industry, The Lava Group won its largest ever contract to provide access control solutions for a new prison currently being constructed in Cork. The contract, worth over £500,000, sees The Lava Group installing Lock Controllers throughout the prison, enabling a one platform system to control access.
Gareth has overseen the launch of Lava Monitoring, a new company set up to design innovative reporting technology with a focus on life saving equipment. The first product, called Sentry, has been designed to combat the risk associated with vandals stealing and damaging equipment from waterfronts.
A partnership with the Connected Health Innovation Centre (CHIC) has helped The Lava Group to move into the health sector and R&D has already started on two major behavioural analysis projects.
Gareth has recently been appointed on to the board of the Connected Health Innovation Centre (CHIC).
